Quality Assurance Analyst II
Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst, II who will contribute to test case design, test execution, and defect management while collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and delivery teams to ensure quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.
What You Will Do
- Test Planning & Execution
- Independently design, execute, and maintain test cases for assigned features or components.
- Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and basic performance testing.
- Analyze requirements and acceptance criteria to identify test coverage gaps and edge cases.
- Validate fixes and confirm readiness for feature or release progression.
- Defect Management & Quality Feedback
- Log defects with clear reproduction steps, evidence, and impact assessment.
- Collaborate with developers to triage, clarify, and resolve defects efficiently.
- Track defects through resolution and verify fixes during regression cycles.
- Communicate quality risks, testing status, and findings to the delivery team.
- Test Documentation & Environments
- Maintain and update test documentation, including test cases and regression suites.
- Support test environment setup, configuration, and test data preparation.
- Ensure test artifacts remain accurate and aligned with evolving functionality.
- Collaboration & Agile Participation
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, planning, and retrospectives.
- Work closely with developers and product managers to improve testability and quality outcomes.
- Support internal or customer-facing test events as needed.
- Continuous Improvement & Skill Growth
- Follow established QA processes and standards consistently.
- Contribute suggestions for improving test efficiency, coverage, or tooling.
- Begin contributing to automated or semi-automated testing under guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2–4 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Proficiency using Jira for defect tracking and test workflows.
- Ability to independently design and execute test cases.
- Understanding of frontend and backend testing concepts.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, QMetry, TestMo).
- Exposure to test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
- Familiarity with API testing, basic SQL queries, or CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum-based teams.
