Quality Assurance Administrator (Weekend Shift)

About the role
The Quality Assurance Administrator assists the Quality team to advance quality and service in the company. This role is responsible for contract review, including aspects of specification, purchase order, and certification generation & review. The Quality Assurance Administrator contributes to achieving the goals of the Quality Management System through following procedures, ensuring all aspects of quality are met during the planning process, and supports the Continuous Improvement Program.
Responsibilities
- Performs contract review through the comparison of customer requirements to internal documentation.
- Generate & review certifications prior to release to customer.
- Performs audits of 6S, quality, and production processes.
- Generate and maintain part master, process master, and process plans.
- Manage Quality logs and coordinate quality issues to closure in a timely manner.
- Initiates and maintains improvement efforts, including key performance indicators, six-sigma efforts, and safety programs.
- Maintains records of Production Planning and Quality key performance indicators related to Route Card and certification generation.
- Assists in the troubleshooting of quality and operational issues.
- Assists in the review of specification, procedural, and route card changes as required.
- Performs internal calibrations and periodic tests to ensure specification compliance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Read and interpret documents written in English such as procedure manuals, work instructions, software manuals, warehouse work orders, and inventories.
- Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel (preferred).
- Strong communication skills, computer literacy, contract review/quality assurance practices, and detail-oriented.
Pay
The hourly range for this position is $20.00 to $22.00 per hour.
Schedule
Shift: Friday–Monday weekend shift (4×8 hrs, 32 hrs worked, 40 hrs paid)
Hours: Fri & Mon 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Sat & Sun 6 AM- 2:30 PM
