About the role
The Quality Assurance Administrative Assistant supports the Director of Quality Assurance by managing office operations and providing secretarial and clerical support. This position plays a crucial role in establishing Long Island Head Start as an exemplary Head Start program and a leading provider of child and family development services on Long Island.
Responsibilities
- Manage office administrative tasks including scheduling, correspondence, and filing.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, phone calls, and emails.
- Support the Director of Quality Assurance with documentation and record-keeping.
- Assist with organizing meetings and preparing agendas.
- Provide administrative support for quality assurance processes.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent with at least two (2) years of secretarial experience.
- Prior experience in a similar administrative role preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
