Quality Analyst - Grand Prairie TX
Description
You will be the Quality Analyst for Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) in Grand Prairie, Texas. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of manufactured, repaired, and procured products meet or exceed design and process requirements.
What You Will Be Doing
- Reviewing documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes
- Analyzing quality data on yields, rework, scrap, and non-conformance aging
- Leading program parts review and corrective action meetings
- Performing assessments and audits on processes and procedures to ensure compliance
- Evaluating design assurance activities and production process methodology
- Interfacing with customers, suppliers, and program personnel on quality-related issues
- Utilizing lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement
- Supporting cross-functional quality initiatives across procurement, supplier quality, and customer service

Minimum Education Required
Bachelors degree or higher or combined education/equivalent years of related experience.
Prior Experience
Prior experience reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products.
Proficient Skill Level
Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Flexible Schedule
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Desired Skills
- Experience with use of manufacturing, inspection gages or measuring equipment.
- AS9100 interpretation, application experience, and compliance auditing.
- Experience working with Government customers and suppliers in a production and or sustainment environment.
- Experience in process improvement activities.
- Understanding of audit techniques.
- Experience in identifying and handling non-conforming products.
- Hands on experience dealing with inspection of hardware and rework / repair of hardware.
- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
- Effective communication skills, written, oral, listening, technical writing.
- Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration.

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
