Quality Analyst
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or a related discipline
- 2+ years of quality assurance or information technology experience
Skills
- Experience with computer technologies and applications
- SQL, Excel, Word, Outlook, Zoom, and Browsers
Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance process auditing of check and remittance processing
- Financial verification of weekly Medicaid payments to providers utilizing system reporting and balancing techniques to ensure contractual automated system functionality
- Participate in annual audits (Transaction and Single State)
- Participate in ad-hoc requests from the customer
- Participate in contractual “System Level Agreement” auditing to monitor and report on compliance to NYS DOH
- Review and approval of SDLC processes and artifacts from a quality and audit perspective based on SLA and contractual requirements
- Create audit testing procedures to perform process audits of operational departments
- Off hours availability, may be required to support staff or answer any questions they may have at the time an issue should arise

- Multitasking and performing tasks in a timely manner
- Rapid learning and flawlessly following complex instructions and analyzing project results
- Clear and concise communication with all staff, at all levels
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Knowledge of writing SQL queries
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Knowledge of programming languages (mainframe experience preferred)
Location
50% hybrid work week
