Quality Analyst

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or a related discipline
• 2+ years of quality assurance or information technology experience

Skills

• Experience with computer technologies and applications
• SQL, Excel, Word, Outlook, Zoom, and Browsers

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance process auditing of check and remittance processing
• Financial verification of weekly Medicaid payments to providers utilizing system reporting and balancing techniques to ensure contractual automated system functionality
• Participate in annual audits (Transaction and Single State)
• Participate in ad-hoc requests from the customer
• Participate in contractual “System Level Agreement” auditing to monitor and report on compliance to NYS DOH
• Review and approval of SDLC processes and artifacts from a quality and audit perspective based on SLA and contractual requirements
• Create audit testing procedures to perform process audits of operational departments
• Off hours availability, may be required to support staff or answer any questions they may have at the time an issue should arise

• Multitasking and performing tasks in a timely manner
• Rapid learning and flawlessly following complex instructions and analyzing project results
• Clear and concise communication with all staff, at all levels
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Knowledge of writing SQL queries
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Knowledge of programming languages (mainframe experience preferred)

Location

50% hybrid work week
