Quality Analyst
Role Overview
Client’s Global Fund Services (GFS) offers fund administration, compliance, legal administration, fund accounting, fulfillment, distribution and marketing, custody, securities lending, transfer agent and shareholder services and alternative investment product services. We provide the products and services necessary for fund sponsors to focus on investing while we protect their business interests and minimize risks.
About the role
Financial Industry Experience Minimum education requirement: High School diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Maintains quality of work as measured against timeliness, accuracy and productivity standards.
- Documents quality issues, performance measures and quality improvements for management review.
- Provides information to assist in training and giving feedback to employees.
- Ensures proper application of and compliance with internal and regulatory standards, guidelines and procedures.
- Independently analyzes complex cases requiring high level analysis and expertise.
- Verifies all processing of shareholder transactions, both financial and non-financial, for accuracy and completeness.
- Analyzes new account set ups and maintenance.
- Additional responsibilities can include: review of shareholder correspondence for content, clarity, grammar and typographical errors and/or review of Contact Center transactions for caller verification.
- Communicates any transaction or reference discrepancies to appropriate parties.
- Solves all quality control issues and maintains group work standards for volume and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in business or related field, or equivalent work experience required.
- Good knowledge and understanding of products and services applicable to Mutual Funds.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail required.
Preferred Skills/Experience
- One to two years of experience in the quality analysis and measurement activities or in Mutual Fund operations.
- Good knowledge of the productivity and accuracy standards of Mutual Fund operations.
- Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a dynamic working environment with minimal supervision.
Pay
No overtime available, Contractors are only allowed to work a maximum of 40 hours per week.
Schedule
Onsite 5 days a week for training. Hybrid afterwards could be potential depending on key factors.
