Quality Admin/Inspect

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Oversight of daily IRR, QAR, and Sales Order Deviation processes to ensure issues are tracked, reviewed, and resolved efficiently.
• Routing issues for review, root cause analysis, and corrective action.
• Keeping production moving by updating sales orders and travelers to support accurate, on-time delivery.
• Strengthening quality and efficiency by auditing production processes and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Partnership with teams to develop clear Standard Operating Procedures and training materials.
• Ensuring product accuracy by reading drawings and travelers and verifying specifications.
• Inspections of grating using precision tools and upholding strict quality standards.
• Addressing non-conforming material through documentation, communication, and corrective action support.
• Applying NAAMM standards consistently to maintain product integrity.
• Continuously evaluating processes and contributing ideas that improve performance and quality.

Education, Work Experience, and Proficiencies

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• One or more years’ experience with a manufacturing facility.
• Excellent reasoning skills, detail-oriented, accurate, and completes assignments on time with little supervision.
• Takes initiative and acts as a self-starter.
• Knowledge of galvanizing quality, on-grip process, and quality as well as acceptable manufacturing standards.
• Experience with ERP systems and knowledge of internal processes and procedures is preferred.

Physical Demands

• Regularly standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Frequently lifting pieces weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Moving pieces weighing more than 45 pounds using material handling equipment.

Work Environment

• The work environment requires the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Exposure to noise, dust, heat, and cold on a regular basis.
• Exposure to machine and tool hazards requiring care and attention to safety rules and standards.
