Qualified Professional / QP / Behavioral Health Urgent Care / Nights
About the role
We are hiring for a Qualified Professional (QP) position at RHA Health Services. This role involves providing support to individuals with mental health and/or substance use issues in various settings. The position requires a Bachelor's degree (in Human Services field) and 2+ years of full-time experience with the population served, or a Master’s degree or higher and 1+ years of full-time experience with the population served. A license, provisional license, certificate, or registration from the governing board regulating human service professions is also required.
Responsibilities
- Provides support to individuals with mental health and/or substance use issues in home, school, workplace, and community settings.
- Focuses on assisting individuals with living independently through interventions that promote recovery, symptom reduction, increased coping skills, and achieving the highest quality of life in the community.
- Facilitates relationships and serves as a link between individuals, the company, family, guardians, local agencies, and the community.
- Minimizes the negative effects of psychiatric symptoms or substance dependence that interfere with daily living and personal development, providing supportive counseling.
- Serves as a link between individuals and services, arranging for services and referrals.
- Works closely with other clinical/professional staff to maintain communication, standardize procedures, and expedite service implementation.
- Performs case management functions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must meet the requirements of a Qualified Professional.
- Must complete criminal background checks, name checks in registries, drug testing, education verification, and other credentialing based on position requirements.
- Must provide proof of employment history or references (if required).
- Must have a valid driver’s license, insurance, and vehicle if required for providing transportation for individuals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (in Human Services field) and 2+ years of full-time experience with the population served.
- Bachelor's degree (Not Human Services field) and 4+ years of full-time experience with the population served.
- Master’s Degree or Higher and 1+ years of full-time experience with the population served.
- Licenses, Provisional Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, Permits issued by governing boards regulating human service professions.

Pay
Position offers a 10% shift differential for weekday nights, weekend days, and weekend nights.
Schedule
Night Shift with a 10% shift differential for weekday nights, 15% shift differential for weekend nights.
