About the role
We are hiring for a Qualified Professional (QP) position in Behavioral Health at RHA Health Services. This role involves providing support to individuals with mental health and/or substance use issues in various settings, focusing on recovery, symptom reduction, and community integration.
Responsibilities
- Provides support to individuals with mental health and/or substance use issues in home, school, workplace and community settings
- Focuses on assisting individuals with living independently through interventions that promote recovery, symptom reduction, and increased coping skills
- Serves as a link between individuals, families, guardians, local agencies, and the community
- Minimizes the negative effects of psychiatric symptoms or substance dependence that interfere with daily living and personal development
- Facilitates relationships and supports clients in developing various skill-building activities, including daily and community living skills, socialization skills, adaptation skills, and behavior and anger management
- Works closely with other clinical/professional staff to maintain communication, provide feedback, standardize procedures, and expedite service implementation
- Performs case management functions, linking and arranging for services and referrals
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must meet the requirements of a Qualified Professional
- Bachelor's degree (in Human Services field) & 2+ years full-time experience with population served
- Bachelor's degree (Not Human Services field) & 4+ years full-time experience with population served
- Master’s Degree or Higher & 1+ years full-time experience with population served
- Licenses, Provisional Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, Permits issued by governing boards regulating human service professions
Qualifications
- Human Service Degrees Include: Social Service, Sociology, Psychology, or other Human Service Degrees
- Populations Served Include: Mentally Ill-Child, Mentally Ill-Adult, Substance Abuse-Adult, Substance Abuse-Child

- Drug testing
- Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements
