About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Intensive In-Home (IIH) Qualified Professional to join our team of smart, talented professionals working every day to improve the lives of people and families. This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, requires minimal supervision, and thrives as a go-getter. You will provide crisis intervention, case management, and individual/family therapy to prevent out-of-home placement for children diagnosed with a mental health disorder.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention, case management, and individual/family therapy to prevent the need for out-of-home placement for children diagnosed with a mental health disorder.
• Deliver essential services in various environments, including schools, homes, detention centers and jails (state funding only), homeless shelters, and street locations.
• Coordinate initial assessment and develop the youth’s Person-Centered Plan (PCP).
• Evaluate the nature of crises, intervene, and reduce the likelihood of recurrence.
• Link clients to needed community services and resources.
• Provide parenting skills training to help families build fundamental coping skills for the youth’s disorder.
• Work with caregivers to implement home-based behavioral supports.
• When assigned, serve as a “First Responder” for crisis response on a 24/7, 365 basis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in the Human Service field with two years of post-degree experience with at-risk youth, or a Master’s degree in the Human Service field with one year of post-degree experience with at-risk youth.
• Valid, unrestricted, state-appropriate driver’s license.
• Visual acuity to develop written correspondence and ensure accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work.
• Ability to perform basic life operational functions, including talking, hearing, sitting for long periods, and performing repetitive motions (e.g., using a computer).
• Ability to speak audibly, write legibly, and perform repetitive motions such as typing.
