Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH) seeks a full-time Qualified Professional for Peer Support Services in Morehead City, NC. The role involves providing various mental health and substance use services, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and supporting clients' progress.

Responsibilities

• Screening, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments
• Treatment planning and psychotherapy
• Crisis stabilization and referral services
• Collaboration with physicians, clinical staff, and community partners
• Development and facilitation of person-centered treatment and aftercare plans
• Coordination of referrals and community resources
• Supporting client progress across life domains

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of two years' experience working with the supported population
• Must have received MH or SA or both services in the past
• Valid, unrestricted North Carolina driver’s license; reliable transportation; and current vehicle insurance
• Proficiency with EHR systems or technical skills

Qualifications

• Must be or have been a recipient of MH or SA or both services in the past
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
