About the role
As a valued member of our collaborative and supportive team, you will work together to transform the lives of individuals by providing a comprehensive range of services that treat the whole person and empower patients to find their way forward. The teams at Easterseals PORT Health care directly for our clients in the community, including visits to clients living in their own homes.
As a Qualified Professional in the Community Support Team (CST), you will provide services to individuals who have a mental health or substance use disorder and meet the two life domains. You will provide support services by participating in the provision of structured rehabilitative interventions such as housing and tenancy, money management, daily activities, and personal wellness.
Responsibilities
- Provide structured rehabilitative interventions to individuals with mental health or substance use disorders
- Support clients in areas including housing and tenancy, money management, daily activities, and personal wellness
- Work independently and adeptly solve problems, including de-escalation in times of crisis
- Participate in the crisis phone rotation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an approved accredited institution
- Minimum of two years’ experience working with the Adult Mental Health population
- In-depth knowledge of different therapeutic approaches and group techniques, as well as their practical application in a community setting
- Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and a good driving record
- Demonstrate high moral and ethical character, and be free of any substantiated charges of abuse or neglect on the NC Healthcare Registry

Pay
Hourly salary based on experience between $44,000-55,000.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm flexible nontraditional schedule. This position is community-based and will serve Wake County.
