Qualified Nursing Aide (QMA) Insulin Certified - Nights and Evenings

Responsibilities

• Set up and administer resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards.
• Serve as a supervisor to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) as directed.
• Provide personal hygiene assistance such as giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves.
• Ambulate, turn, and position patients to maintain their stability.
• Assist with meal service and feeding patients as necessary.
• Monitor vital signs, test urine, and record intake and output information to ensure patient stability.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Indiana as a Medication Aide.
• Maintain current and unencumbered licensure.
