Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) - Visitation Specialist

Position Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s preferred
• 1-2 years experience working with youth who have developmental or cognitive delays
• Must complete Autism Certification within first six months of employment
• Valid driver’s license 100/300/100 Auto Insurance Coverage
• Training and Travel willingness
• Successful completion of all required criminal background checks
• Must possess the skills to navigate and execute software programs (i.e Microsoft Office, Database, Electronic Health Record, Dashboard)

Position Summary

We are seeking a Qualified Mental Health Specialist to join our team. This role targets the treatment needs of individuals, develops attainable goals, and provides the necessary supports to achieve those goals. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who thrives on leading from the front, communicates effectively, solves problems, and collaborates with others.

Service Delivery

• Utilize assessment tools and social history to identify the unique needs of the individual
• Plan, Lead and Execute daily treatment groups
• Utilize Trauma Informed Care approach and techniques in service delivery
• Data Entry - Ensure all documentation is accurate and timely when entered into the electronic health record
• Navigate the electronic health record to gather information needed to best serve individuals

Program Support

• Aid individuals with skill development and activities based on level of functioning
• Collaborate with various program leaders to ensure continuity of care
