Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, establish diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy for clients with behavioral health needs.
- Complete crisis assessments and coordinate care with the Crisis Stabilization Unit and Robert Young Center Inpatient Unit as needed.
- Develop, monitor, and update treatment plans while collaborating with community agencies, primary care providers, and other healthcare partners.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with CARF, Medicaid, HIPAA, DNV, and organizational standards.
- Provide supervision and mentorship to social work or counseling students and participate in staff education and training.
- Maintain clinical productivity standards while delivering compassionate, high-quality behavioral health services in alignment with UnityPoint Health values.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
- Completion of an accredited internship and/or practicum as part of a master's degree program.
- Current intermediate or temporary licensure in good standing in Illinois or Iowa as one of the following: Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Temporary Licensed Mental Health Counselor (tLMHC).
Pay
$30.45-$45.67/hr FTE/Hours per pay period: 1.0
