We are seeking a Kentucky Medication Aide (KMA) to join our team at Aspen Alcove Bardstown. This position involves assisting with medication administration and supporting our residents in the memory care unit. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach to caregiving.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain accurate medication records and ensure proper documentation
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatments
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines
- Take amazing care of our residents
Requirements
- Certified Kentucky Medication Aide (KMA)
- CPR certification
- Previous experience in memory care or a similar setting preferred
- Strong understanding of medication administration procedures and protocols
- Able to work effectively in a team environment
