Qualified Medication Aide (QMA)

Responsibilities

• Set up and administer resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards.
• Serve meals and feed patients as necessary.
• Ambulate, turn, and position patients.
• Provide fresh water and nourishment between meals.
• Check vital signs and weight.
• Test urine.
• Record intake and output information.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Missouri as a Medication Aide.
• Maintain current and unencumbered licensure.
