QTS Tutor Required in NR1

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking an Outreach Tutor to provide one-to-one education packages to young individuals who are not attending school. The role involves creating and delivering tailored lessons to address educational gaps and enhance engagement and achievement levels.

Responsibilities

• Create and plan bespoke education packages for individual students
• Deliver 1:1 sessions to help students re-engage in their learning
• Offer structure to students' daily routines
• Maintain progress with each student and support effective learning

Requirements

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent qualifications
• At least 6 months of relevant teaching experience in a UK school
• Up-to-date safeguarding training

Qualifications

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent qualifications
• 6 months+ experience working in a UK school
• Enhanced Child Barred List DBS certificate

Skills

• Ability to tailor lessons to individual needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with young people who have been out of education

Pay

Minimum rate of pay: £25 per hour

Schedule

Working hours can vary, but must be at least 1 hour per session and a maximum of 3 hours per session.
