Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering teams, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture to achieve project goals and meet organizational objectives.
• Evaluate and enhance engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency, streamline workflows, and optimize team productivity.
• Collaborate with business partners, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure a cohesive approach to product development.
• Enforce technology standards, facilitate peer reviews, and implement robust testing practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.

Requirements

• Knowledge in designing and developing enterprise solutions using Java.
• Experience with Python and ability to leverage it to create fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Experience with reporting solutions like Power BI and creating user-friendly reporting solutions using structured and unstructured data.
• Experience with Quantitative Strategies or Indices and relevant product knowledge related to Equity and/or Commodity derivatives.
• Experience in working with database and data stores - Oracle, SQL Server.

Qualifications

• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or Dagster.
• Validated ability to oversee and develop high-performing teams of 4–8 professionals.
• Experience working in a Front Office environment, partnering closely with Trading and Structuring teams.
• Experience with Docker, Cloud technologies, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of KDB.

Benefits

This role is located in our New York, NY office.

Pay

Minimum Salary: $170,000
Maximum Salary: $230,000
