About the role
The QIDP role at Goldie Floberg Center is distinct from DSP positions. On-call hours cover medical emergencies, not regular DSP duties.
Responsibilities
- Partner with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and their families to create and guide individualized service plans.
- Lead CST meetings, coordinate care, and ensure services align with each person’s goals and preferences.
- Balance office work with hands-on time in homes and the community.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
- Eligibility for (or current listing on) the DHS/DDD QIDP Registry.
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record and ability to travel locally.
Pay and Schedule
Pay: $24.50 per hour. Full-time (minimum 80 hours per pay period), typical hours: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with flexibility and some pre-planned evening/weekend hours and rotating on-call responsibilities.
