QGIS Specialist

Job Summary

Handshake is seeking skilled QGIS users for flexible, hourly contract work supporting AI research. This role does not follow a traditional employment structure. Qualified candidates will leverage their expertise in geographic information systems, spatial data analysis, or environmental mapping to assess AI-generated content and offer insights that enhance AI's ability to comprehend GIS tasks and spatial data workflows.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated content related to geographic information systems, spatial data analysis, or environmental mapping
• Provide detailed feedback to improve AI's understanding of GIS tasks and spatial data workflows

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with QGIS or similar geographic information systems software
• Strong understanding of geographic information systems, spatial data analysis, or environmental mapping principles
• Proficiency in using spatial data analysis tools and techniques
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in geography, environmental science, computer science, or a related field
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in geographic information systems, spatial data analysis, or environmental mapping
