About The Role We’re looking for an QA Specialist to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance of lifecycle and transactional email communications across our brand portfolio. Reporting to the Product Manager, Lifecycle & CRM, this role is ideal for a detail-oriented quality assurance professional who can rigorously test, validate, and safeguard email programs before deployment. You’ll be responsible for reviewing campaigns, automated flows, and transactional messages to ensure rendering accuracy, personalization logic integrity, data reliability, and compliance with deliverability and accessibility standards. You’ll work closely with Email Developers, Lifecycle Strategy, Product, Creative, and Engineering to ensure high-quality execution across all email touchpoints. This role blends technical validation, process discipline, and cross-functional collaboration, with clear accountability for protecting quality and minimizing risk across lifecycle communications. What You'll Do Conduct comprehensive QA testing for promotional campaigns, automated flows, and transactional emails prior to deploymentValidate dynamic content, personalization logic, segmentation accuracy, and trigger behaviorTest rendering across devices, inbox providers, and email clients using QA toolsConfirm data mappings and variable population are functioning correctlyReview tracking parameters, UTMs, and measurement instrumentation for accuracyPartner with Email Developers to identify and resolve logic errors, rendering inconsistencies, and edge-case failuresValidate compliance with brand standards, accessibility requirements, and deliverability best practicesDocument QA findings and maintain standardized testing checklists and workflowsSupport post-launch audits to ensure live campaigns and flows are functioning as expectedCollaborate with Product and Engineering teams when troubleshooting trigger or data discrepanciesContinuously refine QA processes to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in email QA, marketing operations, or lifecycle marketingStrong understanding of email rendering behavior across inbox providers & devicesExperience testing dynamic content, segmentation rules, & trigger-based automationFamiliarity with ESP platforms & email testing toolsStrong attention to detail & process disciplineAbility to identify technical inconsistencies & communicate clearly with developersComfort collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Creative, & Lifecycle teamsOrganized & methodical approach to documentation & issue trackingAbility to manage multiple campaigns & flows in a fast-paced environmentA proactive team member who takes ownership of quality & risk mitigation Why Join Us Own quality assurance for a growing lifecycle & transactional email ecosystemPartner closely with Product & Engineering to safeguard critical customer communicationsPlay a key role in protecting performance, deliverability, & customer experienceContribute to a structured lifecycle & product organization with defined growth pathsHelp build scalable QA standards that support long-term automation & experimentation The Pay Range For This Role Is 75,000 - 85,000 USD per year(Glendale, CA)
