QE Seibi Technician, Contingent Worker (1504594)

Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to support Stamping PE by measuring panels and dies using contact/non-contact measurement systems such as Atos scanners, Hexagon Absolute arm, Argus, and hand tool measurement, while utilizing Polyworks for analyzing data output. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the person in this role will support the Stamping department’s objective to ensure die and panel quality for current and future models.

Technical Expertise

• Analyze measurement data and make appropriate recommendations to Stamping PE and D/M on next steps.
• Pre-production die development panel forming predictability utilizing ARGUS analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support Stamping PE by measuring panels and dies using contact/non-contact measurement systems such as Atos scanners, Hexagon Absolute arm, Argus, and hand tool measurement.
• Utilize Polyworks for analyzing data output.
• Support the Stamping department’s objective to ensure die and panel quality for current and future models.
• Measurements of stamping dies, identify gaps to target.
• Measurements of A class, underbody, chassis stamping panels and sub-assemblies to determine statistical stamped panel quality for accuracy and formability.
• Measurements for PxP and nominal fit vehicle analysis, including digital PxP.
• Pre-production die development panel forming predictability utilizing ARGUS analysis.

Pay
