About the role

We are seeking a skilled Quality Control Manager/Site Safety and Health Officer for a renovation project at the Mechanicsburg Naval Base. This role involves overseeing all phases of general construction to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough construction inspections to ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols.
• Review and interpret construction drawings to guide project execution.
• Oversee federal construction projects with an emphasis on quality control and safety management.
• Implement and manage site safety plans in compliance with OSHA and federal regulations.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure project milestones are met efficiently and safely.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Control Management and Safety in federal construction projects.
• Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings and documents.
• Strong knowledge of federal construction protocols and safety standards.
• OSHA 30 certification or higher.
• EM385-1-1 certification.
• QCM certification.
• 5-8 years of previous federal construction experience.
• Ability to obtain security clearance.
• US Citizenship required.

Work Environment

The work will be conducted on-site at the Mechanicsburg Naval Base. The role involves working closely with construction teams to ensure safety and quality standards are met throughout the project. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mechanicsburg, PA.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $60.10/hr.
