QC Technician-2nd Shift

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment verification and monitoring challenges (scale calibration, metal detector challenge, checkweigher challenge)
• Perform pre-operation and line clearance inspections
• Perform ATP sampling
• Independently perform and document all in-process food safety and quality inspections (BOM, lot code, net weight, label review, sensory, package construction and closure)
• Independently perform blow molding and winding inspection (Bartlett only)
• Responsible for investigation and following hold procedures for out of specification components and finished goods
• Trained in GMP and GDP - Performs GMP-related auditing of production
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; cooperate and team with others as well as comply with legal regulations
• Work overtime hours as required by business needs
• Attend selected meetings and trainings as required
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements

• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Computer literacy with tablets (such as iPads or other touch screen technology), general math skills, ability to read and write English
• Education and Experience: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and 3-6 months related food quality experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required

Working Conditions

• Office setting and warehouse environment with temperature range of 55 – 80 degrees
• This position may require the employee to work weekends or shifts other than their own to meet the needs of the business.

Pay

$18 - $24 / hr plus $0.50/hr Shift Differential
