QC Specialist I

As we continue to pursue new goals, it's an exciting time to join the Bragg team. We are currently hiring a QC Specialist I for our Long Beach, CA branch.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and quality testing on materials, equipment, and systems during construction and maintenance.
• Review welding procedures and welder qualifications for project compliance.
• Accurately document inspection results and maintain job package records.
• Provide timely reports to customers and management.
• Foster positive relationships with customers and regulatory representatives.
• Travel to local and remote job sites as required.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 5+ years of industry experience in power generation, boilers, construction, and piping, and/or refineries.
• Certifications: Must have and maintain a CAWI or CWI.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet functions.
• Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours.
• Customer Relations: Excellent customer relationship skills.
• Work Environment: Primarily office-based (25%), with frequent work in outdoor and industrial settings, including refineries and construction sites.
• Environmental Conditions: Exposure to varying weather conditions (hot, cold, wet), high noise levels, vibrations, and potentially hazardous chemicals, fumes, and vapors.
• Physical Activity: Requires regular climbing, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, and sitting for extended periods.

Pay

Salary: $45.00-$50.00 per hour (The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum salary for this position, and individual hourly rate will be based on skills, qualifications, and experience)
