QC Microbiology Assoc II (Mon-Fri, 7:30am-4pm)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological testing on finished products, stability samples, and other laboratory samples.
• Receive, prepare, process, and document samples according to established procedures.
• Record, review, and compile test results and laboratory reports.
• Support laboratory equipment calibration, qualification, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
• Verify test results for compliance with specifications, methods, and procedures.
• Aid in the development and revision of laboratory procedures and test methods.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety and quality requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and other projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/G.E.D.
• +1 years of laboratory, microbiology, or quality control experience.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to follow procedures and work in a regulated environment.
• Ability to work non-standard hours as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field preferred.
• Experience working in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other FDA-regulated environment preferred.
• Familiarity with cGMP and laboratory quality systems preferred.

Physical & Work Environment

• Lab-based role requiring frequent standing, walking, and use of laboratory equipment.
• Occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.
• Moderate noise level and exposure to a laboratory environment.
• Required use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Pay Range

The pay range for this role is $26.00 - $31.00 per hour. The targeted range takes into account various factors including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs.
