QC Line Inspector - Night Shift

Essential Position Responsibilities

• Monitor and record product weights.
• Check color, odor, and texture.
• Perform seal integrity checks and burst testing.
• Verify product codes, fill temperatures, and quality.
• Complete tear-downs for each seamer head.
• Notify supervisor of out-of-specification measurements.
• Fill out and record documentation on Quality log sheets.
• Input data into the Quality control computer for review.
• Participate as a member of the team.
• Communicate and implement team concepts, programs, and policies.
• Coordinate work to ensure best practices with all team members.
• Attend appropriate team meetings.
• Foster cohesiveness among team members regarding major issues.
• Identify and address areas lacking cohesiveness.
• Work with the team to resolve issues and achieve synergy.
• Maintain familiarity with Simmons' operating systems and responsibilities.
• Support business objectives as assigned.

Technical Experience

Experienced within a manufacturing/process environment with knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices.

Industry Experience

Background in manufacturing.

Minimum Education

High School Diploma or equivalent.

PREFERRED EDUCATION

Some college and/or Tech School.
