QC Lab Technician in Beaumont TX

About the role

Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a Lab Technician for a steel manufacturing company in the Beaumont, TX area. The position is responsible for performing analyses in the Quality Control Laboratory to ensure that final products meet company and customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, report results, and release final product according to quality specifications.
• Conduct analyses including Carbon Content, Sulfur, Hydrogen, Oil Content, Bounds and Residual Styrene (Gas Chromatography), Titration, Mooney and Delta Viscosity, and Shrinkage.
• Perform basic maintenance of equipment and request support in case of malfunction.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and perform general housekeeping duties in the laboratory.
• Perform all operations in accordance with OSHA regulations and company‑specific health, safety, and environmental rules.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related technical discipline (preferred).
• 2+ years of industry experience in a chemical/manufacturing facility.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions based on analytical results.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Dependability and punctuality.
• Willingness to work a rotating day and night shift schedule.

Pay

$25 per hour.

Schedule

Rotating 12‑hour day and night shift schedule (4 on / 4 off, 5‑5).
