QC Lab Chemist

Job Scope

The QC Laboratory Chemist is responsible for performing Quality Control testing on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products in support of manufacturing operations. This role ensures adherence to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), laboratory quality systems, and safety policies while supporting the site's quality objectives.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline. 0–2 years of experience in a quality control laboratory, chemical laboratory, or related environment.
• OR 4+ years of experience working in a chemical laboratory or chemical manufacturing environment in lieu of the Associate degree requirement.
• Basic understanding of chemistry, mathematics, and statistical concepts.
• Familiarity with laboratory testing procedures and quality control practices.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and laboratory quality systems.
• Proficiency with computer applications and laboratory software systems.
