QC Inspector (Weekends)

About the role

Ichor Systems has an immediate opening for an QC Inspector, located in Austin, Texas for our 3rd Shift (Weekends).

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections, checks testing and sampling procedures for product manufacturing processes.
• Carrries out packaging line, manufacturing inspections and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials to ensure that company standards are met.
• Makes process recommendations and suggests improvements in inspection procedures.
• Assesses draft and final label copy, utilizing knowledge of labeling regulations.
• Reduces production rework and recalls by minimizing downtime.
• May apply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials once analytical data is evaluated.
• Works independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years production or related work experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational or technical training.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret prints, drawings and specs.
• Ability to check for workmanship, dimensional specs, tolerance and overall function of the product.
• Ability to determine method procedures on new assignments and provide guidance to other team members.
• Solid understanding of all relevant inspection techniques.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
