QC 3rd shift - Inspector

Location: Naugatuck Department: Operations Reports to: Quality Manager Shift: Third Shift 9:45 pm - 6:00 am _____________________________________________________________________________ Job Summary The Quality Inspector is responsible for monitoring and documenting the dimensional and visual quality of manufactured parts. The Inspector is also responsible for the proper segregation and identification of poor quality product, and for sorting product according to specified criteria. Monitor and document the quality (dimensional, visual defects) of manufactured parts.Provide timely and complete communication to Line Operators, Crew Leader, Manager and all other impacted operations and functional teams regarding quality issues.Provide adequate and relevant information to incoming shift team members.Read and understand blueprints and associated gage plans.Complete data entry activities as needed.Maintain a clean work area.Perform all other duties as needed.
