QA Tester - HBITS-08-15028

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced QA Tester for a long-term, on-site position in Albany, NY. The role involves working on various projects, including the ATA Rewrite Project, DLMS, PCS, NOD, and other applications as needed. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automation testing, ADA/WCAG compliance, and working in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Architect, create, maintain, and execute automation/regression suites using Selenium WebDriver with .NET Core 2.0/Java across multiple browsers and applications.
• Perform ADA/WCAG compliance testing using tools such as NVDA, AXE Dev Tool, ANDI, Accessibility Insights, and AxeAuditor.
• Develop and implement test parallelization, test strategies, and test plans, and build test suites.
• Design automation frameworks that are adaptable, modular, scalable, and reusable across multiple applications, including mobile devices (Android and iOS).
• Manage and maintain test cases, run tests, and track defects using Jira.
• Create test documents for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), participate in UAT, and coordinate/track/analyze results in collaboration with business analysts, technical subject matter experts, and end users.
• Actively participate in scrum ceremonies and work directly with developers in an agile environment to ensure transparent communication and alignment across cross-functional teams.
• Work with applications and data containing Protected Health Information (PHI) covered by HIPAA regulations within a healthcare environment.
• Develop context-sensitive help screens for applications such as DLMS, PCS, and others.

Requirements

• 84 months of experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver with .NET Core 2.0/Java.
• 84 months of experience with ADA/WCAG compliance testing using specified tools.
• 84 months of experience in creating and implementing test parallelization, developing test strategies, and building test suites.
• 84 months of experience in quality assurance, usability testing, and analysis using Jira.
• 84 months of experience in UAT documentation, participation, and coordination.
• 72 months of experience working on a scrum team and participating in agile ceremonies.
• 72 months of experience using Team Foundation Server, GitLab, and SharePoint.
• 72 months of experience working with PHI and HIPAA-regulated data in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in QA testing, automation, and compliance, with a strong background in agile methodologies and healthcare-related applications.

Skills

• Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, .NET Core 2.0/Java, and automation framework development.
• Expertise in ADA/WCAG compliance testing tools.
• Strong understanding of test parallelization, strategy, and planning.
• Experience with Jira for test case management and defect tracking.
• Ability to work effectively in an agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and handling PHI.
