About the Role

Conducts automated and manual tests to ensure that the software created or upgraded performs as necessary and meets user requirements. Develops and maintains user and technical documentation and project process documentation for application teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform application testing based on written test scripts, documenting, tracking, and communicating defects utilizing ALM.
• Create, develop, manage, and execute functional test and regression test scripts; develop generic reusable functions and scripts.
• Work directly with business analysts, program subject matter experts, and technical staff to create robust test plans and test cases for web applications.
• Develop automation scripts using Playwright.

Requirements

• 72 months of experience performing application testing based on written test scripts, documenting, tracking, and communicating defects utilizing HP ALM.
• 72 months of experience creating, developing, managing, and executing functional test and regression test scripts; developing generic reusable functions and scripts.
• 12 months of programming languages experience in PL/SQL, JSON, Python, VB, .Net, HTML, VB Script.
• 12 months of experience working in high-visibility government projects in a state or federal agency, preferably in Licensing projects.
• 6 months of experience in automation testing using Playwright, developing and executing automation test scripts.

Qualifications

Senior-level tester with 60–84 months of experience. Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance, and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education.
