QA Tester

Responsibilities

• Working experience on jQuery / D3 / other JavaScript libraries is expected.
• Your working knowledge of Azure would be preferred.
• Work in a development team to develop integrated ASP.NET applications.
• Perform design and development of web-based services and applications.
• Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure the delivery of high-quality and reliable web applications.
• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high availability and performance.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
• Prepare and produce releases of software components.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
• The primary responsibility of this role is to be a part of Feature Teams working in Agile mode and participate in Functional Testing.
• Tester should have exposure to programming in either C or Java in order to develop a test harness.
• Individual must have the ability to work as a part of an agile team with the flexibility to work with shifting requirements.
• Candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills.
• The tester should preferably be from a Test Automation background or he should be well acquainted with the SQL knowledge required in Testing.
• At least 2 years of Testing experience with a Test Automation framework building or Testing using SQL Queries.
• Developing code, batch scripts, file transfer, and load, Parser writing and modifications to existing one, preparing user manual, SOPs, Run Books.
• Good understanding of File transfer protocol, job scheduling, Product Execution in Cloud environment.
• Knowledge of Java Programming, Knowledge of JIRA is a must.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience.
• Post Graduate in Banking and/or Finance.
• 3+ years of experience in the Financial (preferably banking) domain with exposure to regulatory compliance for the US/European market.
• Proficiency in MS excel. Strong conceptual understanding of data modeling and testing environment.
• Should be familiar with Use Case documentation.
• Innovative mindset and meticulous attention to detail.
• Knowledge AngularJS.
• Knowledge of Photoshop & Visual Studio.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good Problem-Solving skills.
• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
• 3+ years of experience with hands-on Java development.
• Hands-on experience in developing applications using Java EE platforms.
• Experience on the Linux platform will be an added advantage.
• Exposure to Hadoop and/or HBase will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Relational Databases and SQL will be an added advantage.
• Experience with test-driven development.
• Good aptitude/debugging skills.
• Good team player.
• Graduate or Post Graduate in Computer Science.
• Work experience: 3+ as a data analyst or in a related field.
• Experience with SQL.
• Ability to understand and analyze SQL queries.
• Should have prior experience with executing SQL.
• The ability to prepare sample test data for testing.
• The ability to implement business logic requirements via SQL and test the code developed by the Development team.
• Understands Data model and have the ability to build a data model.
• Wellworsed with Entity-relationship based on data entities.
• Experience of BFS domain and knowledge of domain terminology is added plus.
• Good understanding of File transfer protocol, job scheduling, Product Execution in Cloud environment.
• Knowledge of Java Programming, Knowledge of JIRA is a must.

Skills

• Any Graduate/ Post Graduate.
• Experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Responsive UI.
• Knowledge AngularJS.
