QA Tester

About the role

A leading technology solutions provider, renowned for delivering innovative IT services and digital transformation, is seeking a skilled QA Tester to join their dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical government projects, ensuring the quality and integrity of vital information systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct manual and automated testing for complex IT projects
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate requirements
• Identify, track, and manage defects throughout the software development lifecycle
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks
• Test web services using tools like SoapUI and Postman
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate automated test suites with DevOps

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in software QA/testing for IT projects
• Proficiency in C# or Java programming
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and writing complex SQL queries
• Experience with NIEM XML or other complex XML standards and SOA technologies
• Demonstrated experience with test automation framework development, maintenance, and data-driven testing
• Familiarity with GitHub and automation reporting tools such as Extent Reports
