About the role
We are seeking a talented and experienced developer local to Mt Laurel, NJ. Candidates must be available for face‑to‑face interviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test solutions for core banking applications.
- Build and maintain Java‑based test automation frameworks and test suites.
- Validate end‑to‑end business processes across distributed and mainframe‑based systems.
- Collaborate with business, development, and QA teams to ensure quality delivery.
- Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and support issue resolution.
Role Description
Candidates should have 10 years of experience in QA, with at least 3 years as an Architect.
- Tools: Selenium, Playwright/Cypress, Appium, RestAssured
- Languages: Java, Python, JavaScript
- Strong API and microservices testing experience
- Exposure to CI/CD, Agile, and DevOps environments
- Define and implement automation frameworks for UI, API, and Mobile
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/Jenkins)
- Drive Quality Engineering practices such as Shift Left/Right, BDD/TDD
- Ensure compliance with OSFI, PIPEDA, and PCI‑DSS
- Oversee testing for digital banking, payments, and lending systems
- Mentor teams and enforce quality governance
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Java‑based test automation, including Selenium, API automation, and custom automation frameworks.
- Experience in functional and integration testing of enterprise applications.
- Understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
- Ability to work in Agile delivery environments.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with mainframe test automation tools and practices.
- Understanding of mainframe systems, data flows, batch processing, and interfaces.
- Exposure to core banking platforms and banking domain processes.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and test automation integration.
Desirable Skills
- Proficiency in Playwright
- Strong Core Java skills
- Expertise in Selenium
Experience Required
10 years and above, with at least 3 years in an architect role.
