Test Architect
Role Description
The Test Architect Architect II - Software Testing leads QE activities for the designated domain, designs, develops, and executes manual and automated test cases, and uses AI assisted testing solutions to accelerate testing tasks. They also design and develop automation scripts using Selenium (Java)/Playwright (Typescript), Appium, and REST API frameworks. The role involves managing test execution on cloud platforms like Lambda, Test Grid, and SauceLabs for faster feedback and scalability.
Skills
- Strong digital T-Life domain knowledge across Mobile/Web, chat/voice bots, and middleware systems
- Automation: Selenium/Playwright, REST API
- E2E business flow understanding: Customer Journey, Authentication, Product/Offer selection, Cart/Checkout, Payment, Order, Fulfillment, Billing
- Programming Languages: Java/C#/Python/Typescript
- Data validation for transactions, order, and user/session data
- AI-driven quality insights
- Intermediate understanding of validation controls like authentication, payments, and order integrity checks
- Expertise in Gitlab, CI/CD tools
- Test Grid/Tosca automation
- Manual Testing Expertise: Appium (Expert: 4-5 years)
- Test Management tools: JIRA, Qtest
- Analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below. Benefits include a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and eligibility for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. Employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Full-time employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching.
