QA Technician (Hourly Position)

The QA Technician role is based at the El Paso Customer Service Center (Eastside).
Responsibilities
- Follow up with the inspections and sorting of finished goods (FG) materials.
- Work closely with the sorting company for clear instructions and sorting methods.
- Observe and ensure all safety rules are followed by QA members and the sorting company.
- Develop standards, visual aids, and reports for sorting purposes.
- Assist during ISO/TS internal and external audits.
- Propose changes to processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain close contact with manufacturing plants in Mexico for feedback on quality issues.
- Ensure FG material conditions are correctly identified and meet all customer requirements.
- Judge good and no-good parts using measurement tools and repair defects based on skill level/hierarchy.
- Support material handlers to move material using a forklift.
- Perform tear-down inspections on wire harnesses.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bilingual (English and Spanish preferred).
- Available to travel between the U.S. and Mexico.
- Excellent dimensional skills and attention to detail, including basic knowledge of the international metric system and the use of measurement instruments (measuring tape, caliper, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Willingness to work a second-shift schedule and overtime on short notice.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Minimum of three years of experience in similar Quality Assurance duties; ISO/TS 16949 experience preferred.
