QA Technician

About the role

Wet Noses Natural Dog Treat Company is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to ensure their pet treats meet safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Run tests on raw materials, in-process items, and finished treats.
• Watch for food safety issues and report them immediately.
• Keep logs and reports organized and up-to-date.
• Support and train team members on safety and cleanliness practices.
• Help with internal audits and prepare for external inspections (FDA, USDA, SQF, etc).
• Tag and track items that don’t meet quality standards.
• Identify ways to improve products and processes.
• Collaborate with the QA team and production to resolve issues promptly and accurately.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of quality assurance or food production experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with computers (Word, Excel, etc.).

Pay

$19.5/hour

Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30PM
