QA TECHNICIAN
About the Role

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to perform daily quality assurance surveillance across aircraft maintenance lines, identify and report discrepancies, document results, and help ensure key maintenance processes remain compliant in a fast-paced aviation environment where attention to detail, communication, and accountability matter every day.

Responsibilities
- Monitor maintenance activities and verify compliance with established processes
- Identify discrepancies and communicate them quickly to production leadership
- Document surveillance findings and maintain accurate QA records
- Work independently and effectively under pressure
- Communicate professionally with mechanics, supervisors, and management
- Perform daily quality assurance surveillance activities to verify compliance with key processes or elements associated with the aircraft maintenance function
- Report the results from the surveillance to middle and senior management
Requirements
- Working knowledge or ability to acquire skills in quality assurance practices
- Ability to learn quickly and follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively report observed conditions to peers and leadership
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Basic computer skills with ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- 3 months of working experience in a factory, warehouse, or repair shop setting
Working Environment
Supervision: Under the general direction of a supervisor. Normally performs duties after receiving general instructions as to methods, procedures, and desired end results. There is some opportunity for discretion when making selections among a few, easily identifiable choices. The assignment is usually reviewed upon completion.
Interpersonal Relation: Good interpersonal skills are required to maintain effective relationships with co-workers and supervision.
Physical Environment: Must be able to cope with the stress and mental exhaustion associated with verifying several elements across multiple aircraft lines daily, handling employee confrontations, and working long hours.
Background and Screening
