QA Tech 1st Shift

About the role

Monitor quality control program designed to ensure food safety consistent with established company and regulatory standards. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and control an effective quality assurance program/food safety procedures and practices, including daily product testing and verification
• Assist with the monthly self-audit of the operation to determine the level of compliance with the good manufacturing practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and company policies relating to food safety
• Ensure overall compliance with government food regulatory agencies and other applicable regulations, including state-specific regulatory programs
• Ensure compliance with the Food Safety Plan/SQF program
• Prepare the facility to successfully achieve and maintain SQF Status
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards

Schedule

Sunday - Thursday: 6am - 3pm

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
• 6 Months - 1 Year Quality control within foodservice industry and related regulatory compliance laws
