Role Summary A Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for implementing quality management practices to enhance product and service delivery. This role involves collaboration across multiple functions to support quality improvement initiatives, conduct audits, and analyze data to identify root causes of issues. The position requires a proactive approach to maintaining compliance and driving continuous improvement in manufacturing and assembly processes. Responsibilities Assist in solving quality-related problems independently, collaborating with various teams and personnel with minimal supervision. Coordinate with the Quality Manager to establish annual goals and conduct performance reviews for relevant staff. Develop and foster relationships with employees to support quality initiatives within manufacturing, data analysis, and tool assembly. Support the creation, documentation, and delivery of training on quality management systems, procedures, and processes. Collaborate with Data Analysis and Quality Control teams to improve quality performance through constructive input on processes and procedures. Utilize statistical methods, problem-solving techniques, and quality tools for root cause analysis of sensor coverage loss or inspection anomalies. Assist in developing risk assessments such as FMEAs, Control Plans, Audit Plans, and quality training materials. Monitor and report on quality metrics, integrating data into organizational dashboards for management review. Conduct audits of processes and products to ensure compliance with standards, policies, and procedures. Participate in reviewing and revising quality procedures and instructions as needed to maintain compliance and enhance effectiveness. Qualifications 3 to 5 years of experience in quality engineering or a similar role. Strong communication skills with an ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Proven ability to work independently with minimal oversight. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and tool build assembly. Experience with root cause analysis and quality tools (e.g., FMEAs, Control Plans). Familiarity with quality management systems and auditing procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Availability to work on-site in a manufacturing environment. Publishing Pay Range: $40.00 – $48.00 hourly This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
