QA/QC Technician
About the role
This is a Contract position based out of Moncks Corner, SC. The QA/QC technician will audit telecom installations to ensure everything is installed correctly, tested, dressed properly, and functioning as designed.
Responsibilities
Must demonstrate good customer skills, have a positive attitude, and be willing to learn and grow. Must be detail-oriented, self-starting, and an overall team player. Possess a strong work ethic and the ability to travel when needed.
- Perform QA/QC Inspections/Observations on a daily basis of assigned sites.
- Document findings, including non-conformities, potential risks, and areas for improvement as outlined in the QA/QC checklist.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all Inspection activities, findings, and follow-ups.
- Assist, when applicable, on training employees in quality standards and best practices to maintain consistent compliance.
- Detect any deviations from quality standards and report them to the QA/QC Manager, site supervisors, or other relevant personnel.
- Work with the Manager to provide recommendations to enhance quality standards, minimize risks, and improve efficiency.
Requirements
- Familiarity in quality assurance/control.
- Learning Management System Experience Preferred.
- Have an understanding of all aspects of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of adult learning concepts.
- Agile in willingness and ability to take on different projects or learn new areas.
- Excellent time management skills, public speaking skills, problem-solving skills, and both verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years in structured cabling. Have an understanding of both industry and manufacturer’s standards and proper installation of cable infrastructure.

Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
