QA/QC Technician
About the role
Loenbro is a trusted construction lifecycle partner with a focus on mission-critical projects. The QA/QC Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining high-quality and safety standards for electrical projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a robust QA/QC program for electrical projects, including reviewing project plans and specifications.
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical installations, equipment, and materials to ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and project requirements.
- Perform electrical testing, measurements, and functional checks to ensure the integrity, safety, and reliability of electrical systems.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and any non-conformance issues. Prepare and submit comprehensive reports to project managers and clients.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
- Provide guidance and support to project personnel regarding quality and safety standards, fostering a culture of quality excellence.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of previous experience in quality assurance/quality control roles within the electrical industry is highly desirable.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Quality Control, or a related field (Preferred).
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, industry standards, and regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in the use of testing equipment and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- OSHA10 or higher and other safety certifications are highly preferred.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and industry standards.
- Proficiency in using testing equipment and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule
This position may require travel to various project sites. Mostly outdoors, potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures. Manufacturing and refining environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements. Walking in uneven terrain, with an average of 2 miles per day. Standing/sitting for long periods, stooping, crawling, climbing stairs & ladders, and kneeling. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to meet project deadlines.
