About the role
The QA/QC Manager supports and oversees quality assurance and quality control activities on large scale construction projects, ensuring they meet established quality standards, safety requirements, and regulatory expectations.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor QA/QC plans across construction projects to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and reviews to verify quality, safety, and environmental compliance
- Review construction drawings and submittals for accuracy, completeness, and constructability
- Support RFI and submittal processes and ensure proper documentation and tracking
- Identify, document, and help resolve quality issues, non-conformances, and risks
- Maintain detailed project documentation including inspection reports, meeting minutes, and compliance records
- Cook up with contractors, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure adherence to QA/QC processes
- Support project reporting (daily, weekly, monthly) related to quality metrics and construction progress
- Aid in managing project risks related to quality, safety, and compliance
- Participate in project meetings and communicate QA/QC updates with stakeholders
- Review as-built documentation and assist in project closeout activities
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
- 3–7+ years of experience in construction QA/QC or project coordination (or equivalent experience in lieu of degree)
- Experience implementing QA/QC programs and supporting construction site operations
- Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and submittal processes
- Knowledge of OSHA and construction safety practices
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Preferred Certifications
- OSHA 30
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
Work Environment
This is a primarily on-site role supporting active construction projects, with the possibility of travel depending on project needs.
