Job Description and Responsibilities
Complete all aspects of the QAQC department and Quality Assurance process (Reporting, Tracking, Percentage complete, Production, etc.).
Review and understand construction Documents (Plans, Materials, etc.).
Ensure that proper product applications and installations are happening on jobs.
- Conduct job site Quality Inspections in partnership with division management (Meet with Operations, Drive to work sites, communicate with General Contractors and Owners, meet with Chamberlin Supervisors and installers, inspect and document work being completed)
- Attend operation meetings relating to jobs (Preconstruction, In production, etc.)
- Work with operations department (s) to ensure mockups are completed prior to all work start
- Assist QAQC Team and Operations in worksite effectiveness (complete assigned site visit inspections, material inventories, etc., as assigned or needed)
- Help identify, schedule, coordinate and conduct craft training events
- Help create training material and events as needed and necessary
- Complete, create and update reports as needed
- Help to ensure QAQC reporting is recorded and accurate
WITH CERTIFICATION (BERM or RRO) = The QAQC and Craft Training Coordinator must have past and received certification to hit this level
Position Skills and Requirements
- At least three years of experience in commercial construction within field of responsibility (Roofing or Waterproofing). Time within QAQC does qualify.
- Knowledge and ability with Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver’s license
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere
- Must have good organization skills
- Must possess problem solving skills and be self-motivated
- Ability to take on multiple assignments and see to completion with minimal guidance
- Capable of anticipating and addressing foreseeable issues before they manifest
- Able to meet the physical and job-related requirements of the role (climbing, bending, lifting, training facilitation, etc.)
Education Requirement
- High School diploma or GED
- Four-year college degree preferred
