QA Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform first article, in process and final mechanical inspection using drawings, processes, wire connection lists, mil specs and work instructions with hand tools and measuring equipment.
• Document and disposition defects found during mechanical inspections and communicate results to responsible activities for root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
• Interpret and execute working level policies and procedures to ensure contractual and ethical compliance.
• Absorb and assist in the identification, documentation, control and disposition of non conforming material.
• Work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• May be requested to climb to perform job responsibilities.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret detailed Drawings/Wire Connection Lists/Military Specifications.
• Proficient in the use of hand precision measuring tools.
• Ability to identify and disposition non conforming material.
• Ability to understand and identify workmanship deviations from requirements.
• Familiarity with the use of PC based applications used in defect reporting.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required.
