QA Inspector - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the gage calibration system
• Perform first piece reviews and approvals, in-process inspections, and final inspections as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee
• Complete First Article Inspection Reports and maintain necessary paperwork as required
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition
• Talk to customer representatives or auditors and discuss technical information professionally
• Perform basic troubleshooting as required

Job Requirements

• Able to stand, sit, walk (on concrete surfaces), bend, kneel, crouch, twist, and lift up to 35 pounds
• Able to lift/push/pull objects up to 35 pounds, heavier objects require assistance
• Strong math skills and high accuracy when measuring
• Computer skills including MS Office and general computer and internet skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to pass vision requirements
• Ability to adhere to safety policies
• Working command of the English language, ability to communicate orally and in writing

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1-3 years previous quality experience with gage calibration management and maintenance or an Associates Degree in related field
• Experience in Aerospace Industry a plus
