Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the gage calibration system
- Perform first piece reviews and approvals, in-process inspections, and final inspections as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee
- Complete First Article Inspection Reports and maintain necessary paperwork as required
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition
- Talk to customer representatives or auditors and discuss technical information professionally
- Perform basic troubleshooting as required
Job Requirements
- Able to stand, sit, walk (on concrete surfaces), bend, kneel, crouch, twist, and lift up to 35 pounds
- Able to lift/push/pull objects up to 35 pounds, heavier objects require assistance
- Strong math skills and high accuracy when measuring
- Computer skills including MS Office and general computer and internet skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to pass vision requirements
- Ability to adhere to safety policies
- Working command of the English language, ability to communicate orally and in writing
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1-3 years previous quality experience with gage calibration management and maintenance or an Associates Degree in related field
- Experience in Aerospace Industry a plus
