QA Inspector 2nd Shift

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Verifies conformance of the product to dimensional specifications.
• Release of material based on inspection / test results.
• Interprets basic engineering drawings.
• Effectively uses gages and measuring equipment.
• Records inspection data.
• Performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics.
• Enters data into the computer for analysis and prepares graphs or charts.
• Verifies conformance to gages to calibration standards.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

• Ability to maintain charts, graphs, and production reports.
• Ability to calculate basic mathematical computations.
• Ability to interpret written communication.
• Capable of carrying out all assignments and maintaining the 5'S philosophy.
• Ability to understand blueprints and technical documents.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Understand SPC, Control Charting, FMEA's.
